We were delighted when these clients were referred to us by previous downsizing clients we'd worked with. Another condominium project meant another opportunity to do what we love most: guiding people through the downsizing process with care and creativity, turning a transition into a beautiful new chapter.

When our clients selected this unit, we immediately recognized the opportunity and necessity, to significantly boost natural light throughout the space. We also devoted careful attention to developing design options that optimized the kitchen's functionality and footprint, all while preserving the warm, natural, and inviting aesthetic we aimed to achieve.

Early in the design process, we chose to reposition the door leading into the new den. By doing so, we created a pathway for abundant natural light to pour through the condo and reach the eating area, significantly brightening the entire living zone.

The existing standalone island in the original kitchen felt like it fragmented the limited space. We reimagined it as a sleek peninsula, providing an extended countertop run that maximizes usability in a condo setting. Adding cabinetry to build the peninsula not only boosted much-needed storage but also carved out a welcoming spot for three bar stools, enhancing both function and social flow. By incorporating the additional cabinets, we created a perfect built-in space for a beverage refrigerator. This thoughtful detail proves especially handy during gatherings, making it easy for our clients to keep drinks chilled and readily accessible while hosting.
